Parents and caregivers for children with neurodevelopmental conditions know that most of the time it feels like a very lonely journey.

Even close members of the family of a special needs parent do not know how to show support, "because they just don't get it." Having someone you feel safe to vent to when everything seems too overwhelming is a very powerful support.

 

Our bimonthly meetings offer a safe environment for our members, because who will get it more than someone who is going through the same situation. It is also an environment to share ideas, experiences and what has or hasn't worked for each family.
