About the event
Our next Micro-Class with discussion and Parent support check-in is on Tuesday 15th of March 2022 at 18:30 CET (5:30 pm UK time).
How do you motivate your child to reach their utmost potential and excel in the areas where their strengths lie? Has your child been giving up on even trying? Have they lost faith in themselves, when you, the parent, know that they are capable? Shaimaa, our beloved member and active volunteer, will share with us how she is navigating these very same questions with her children.
Shaimaa is currently pursuing her graduate degree at Durham University and the International School of Geneva to become a primary school teacher. She relocated with her family of four to Lausanne in 2016. She is the mother of a child with learning difficulties and has experienced the joys as well as the challenges that living with a Star at home can bring to a family. Through volunteer work as well as a career shift, she hopes to help her children and other Stars reach their utmost potential and believes in the power of community to achieve that. She is excited at becoming a teacher who can help children enjoy their learning journeys and hopefully prepare them for a bright future.
More info and how to register to attend will follow shortly. Meanwhile, see what other parents say about our Micro-Classes and support groups.
